Mr. Carroll has extensive experience in handling a wide variety of complex litigation matters, demonstrating expertise in the courtroom as well as the ability to manage complex multi-party litigation. He serves the firm's clients as both trial and coordinating local counsel. He has taken over 100 cases to verdict in jury trials in state and federal court. He has successfully represented individuals, corporations, business owners, and premises owners in a wide variety of commercial, personal injury, and wrongful death matters.

Personal
Marcus A. Carroll grew up in Tyler, Texas as did his wife, Jane. Mr. Carroll graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1977. He then continued his education at Baylor University from 1977 to 1981 graduating with a B.B.A. He attended Baylor University School of Law, graduating in 1983. He was hired by Potter, Guinn, Minton, Roberts and Ireland in 1983. He left the Potter Firm in 1984 to work with Ireland, Carroll & Kelley, and became a shareholder in 1987. In 2000, Mr. Carroll started his own law firm. He became of counsel for Black & Skaggs, P.C. in 2016.
